Conference and registration venue

Registration is possible:
- on Tuesday 9 September, 18:00-20:00 (during welcome drink),
- on Wednesday 10 September, 8:00-9:00,
- anytime during conference schedule.
Badge provided at registration is to be worn throughout the whole conference including social events.
Wi-Fi connection
- The whole premises is covered by Eduroam Wi-Fi network.
- Guest access to the internet will be arranged and provided onsite.
Access to recorded presentations
- Oral presentations will be recorded (slides and sound) and the records provided to registered participants.
- Access to recorded presentations will be specified before the conference.
- In case you don’t want your presentation to be recorded, inform the staff in the room before your session.
Public transport in Prague
Prague has one of the best public transportation systems in Europe. We encourage the conference attendees to use it for transport around Prague; it operates from day to night.
The Prague public transport mobile app (PID Lítačka) allows you to find public transport connections and purchase tickets for your journey, which we recommend. Tickets can be purchased also in yellow vending machines at metro stations (validation required in a validator) and in every tram (contactless only).
Social events
Please, wear the badge provided at registration during all social events.
Welcome drink on Tuesday and farewell drink on Friday open and close the conference at the conference venue.
Concert on Wednesday and dinner on Thursday are located in nice premises near to must-visit places in Prague. The conference program ends at 16:30, both social events start at 19:00, which gives the participants about 2.5 hours for discussions, refreshment and possible sight-seeing. The participants will be asked to reach the social events venue by their own, preferably by public transport.

- Wednesday 10 September, 19:00-21:00.

- Concert of the Academic Orchestra of Czech Technical University in Prague followed by light refreshment. Please, come in time!
- Short paths: Option I: By tram 18 from Lotyšská station to Karlovy lázně station, then ten-minute walk. Option II: By metro A (green line) from Dejvická station to Můstek station, then ten-minute walk. Option III: By metro A (green line) from Dejvická station to Můstek station, then switch to metro B (yellow line) to Národní třída station, then five-minute walk.
- Sightseeing path through the Old Town: From metro station Staroměstská (one station earlier than Můstek on green line A) by one-hour walk.
Conference dinner in Strahov Monastery
- Thursday 11 September, 19:00-22:00.

- Conference dinner in the form of a buffet.
- Short paths: Option I: By tram 8 or 18 from Lotyšská tram station to Hradčanská station, then seven-minute walk through parc Charlotte G. Masarykové to Královský letohrádek tram station, and then by tram 22 to Pohořelec station. Option II: By metro A (green line) from Dejvická to Malostranská, then by tram 22 to Pohořelec station.
- Sightseeing paths: Nice path across Hradčany (including viewpoints from Letná to city center, Prague Castle and Nový Svět): From tram station Korunovační (accessible by tram 8 from Lotyšská tram station) by one-hour-and-half walk. Shorter nice path across Hradčany (including Staré zámecké schody and Prague Castle): By 45-minute walk from metro/tram station Malostranská. Nice path along Petřín (including viewpoints from parc Petřínské sady to the city center, Petřín Lookout Tower and views to Prague Castle): By one-hour walk from bus station Koleje Strahov (accessible by bus 143 or 149 from Dejvická bus station).
